Designed specifically for arterial blood gas analysis, NT® pre-heparinized syringes with needles are sterile, single-use diagnostic products. They ensure safe aspiration of arterial blood required for pH, pCO2, and pO2 measurements, as well as electrolytes, lactate, and hemoglobin testing.

Approximately 80 IU of pulverized lithium heparin solution is sprayed into the syringe. This specialized fixation method prevents blood coagulation and supports the accuracy of analytical results.

Handling & Storage
NT® syringes should be stored at ambient temperatures between 2-32°C, protected from direct sunlight and moisture. The product is for single use only; to prevent needle-stick injuries and contamination, it must be disposed of immediately after use according to standard medical waste procedures.
